Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Puzzle Temple ("we", "us", "the service") - the Sudoku, Climb Sudoku, and Jigsaw games at this site. By using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service, as-is
This is a small, independently run project. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied - we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or suited to any particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Accounts and guest play
- You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account.
- You must provide an accurate email address for your own account - it's used for verification and account recovery, not marketing.
- Guest play requires no account, but a guest identity is tied to your device/browser and isn't a substitute for an account if you want your progress or scores to persist reliably.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, without prior notice for serious or repeated violations.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or otherwise abuse the service's infrastructure.
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to play, submit scores, or interact with the service in a way a human wouldn't.
- Upload, as a custom Jigsaw image, anything you don't have the rights to use, or anything illegal, infringing, or offensive.
- Harass, impersonate, or abuse other players.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its underlying systems.
We may remove content or restrict access for violating any of the above.
Your content
If you upload an image for a Jigsaw puzzle, you keep whatever rights you already had in it - we don't claim ownership. You're solely responsible for having the right to upload it. We store it only to run the puzzle you created and may remove it if it violates these terms.
Leaderboards
Leaderboard rankings are provided for fun and reflect submitted gameplay data as recorded by our systems. We may correct, remove, or reset scores that appear to result from a bug, abuse, or automation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
